The Police Service Commission, PSC, has set August 22nd for the conduct of aptitude test for shortlisted applicants to the Nigeria Police Force.
The Head, Press and Public Relations of the commission, Ikechukwu Ani, said in a statement on Sunday.
Mr. Ani said noted that coordinators for the screening exercise were already in their states to ensure the success of the process.
He added that the Commission’s Chairman, Mike Okiro, has advised successful applicants who haven’t yet received their invitation via e-mail to check their names at the state Police headquarters in their states noting that list of applicants invited had been pasted across all 36 states.
The spokesperson said the Commission would ensure that nobody who was successful and qualified for this level of the exercise was left out.
The commission shortlisted 110, 469 out of the 338,250 for the aptitude tests from the 991,438 applications received.
The 110,469 comprised 22, 454 for Cadet ASPs, 24,456 for Cadet Inspectors and 63,559 for Police Constables.
