The DSS has detained Former President, Goodluck Jonathan’s Chief Security Officer, Gordon Obua, as part of measures probe staff of the former administration by the incumbent.
According to PUNCH, Mr. Obua was picked up by the DSS on Thursday, on an order given by President Buhari himself.
Reason for the detention is not known at this point but a source who spoke to reporters said it is to gather information on members of staff close the presidency in the Jonathan administration.
The arrest and detention of the former CSO is an indication that every former minister or senior official under Jonathan’s government are not exempted from probe except those that have no criminal suspicion or record of wrong doing in office,”
More officials of the past administration will be picked up by the DSS in the nearest future, the source concluded.
