The Liverpool Female Rugby team have taken after their Oxford counterparts in stripping n@ked for charity.
Funny enough, it fufilled its purpose as the 2016 calender sold out almost as soon as it was unveiled.
The calenders were sold to support Coppafeel; a charity organisation that lectures women on how to check their breasts regularly inorder to detect cancer in its early stages.
After selling up to 375 copies at £10 per one, the profit gained is estimated to be more than £2,000.
Eve Watton (19), the captain of the team and a second year English/Spanish student said:
The calendar really helped the team last year with away matches and equipment as women’s rugby league is really under funded. We couldn’t survive without it. All the girls are so thrilled to have sold out of our calendar for the second year in a row. Nobody expected how much publicity it would gain and the support we have received has been really lovely. We are so thrilled to have raised such a large amount of money for a fantastic charity. As a team we would like to thank everyone who has bought a calendar and supported us and Coppafeel.
