Acting President Yemi Osinbajo on Tuesday, February 21, added Adeyinka Asekun’s name to the list of non-career ambassadorial nominees.
Asekun, a banker will join the list of 46 non-career ambassadorial nominees who will be screened by the Senate.
The Senate President, Bukola Saraki while addressing lawmakers today, announced the fresh addition as contained in a letter sent by Osinbajo.
A list of nominees were submitted by President Muhammadu Buhari on Thursday, January 12, before he left for his medical leave to the United Kingdom.
Asekun, an indigene of Ogun state is currently the chairman of Wema Bank.
