The naira continued its steady rise against the American dollar at the parallel market on Tuesday, March 29.
Sources at the Bureau De Change (BDC) informed that the Nigerian currency which stood at N320 on Monday, March 28, is now N318/dollar in an unexpected appreciation of the naira.
Asked if the dollar is now sold for N300 as speculated in some quarters, the BDC source said:
No, I don’t have for that rate, but I am sure you can get it from me for lower than N320 that we sold it last week. As I speak, it stands at N318, although it has been fluctuating between that amount and N319 all day.
