Super Eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh, has recalled Obafemi Martins as well as invited 23 other players for the Super Eagles 2018 World Cup qualifier against Swaziland in November.
The 31-year-old Seattle Sounders striker who have not been in the scene since he played in a World Cup qualifier in 2013 under Stephen Keshi even talked about retiring from the National team after being ignored by the former coach whom he claimed did not like him.
Well, according to a reliable source, Martins is among the 24-man list Sunday Oliseh submitted to the National Football Federation (NFF).
The Super Eagles will tackle Swaziland in the first leg on November 13, while the return leg is at the Adokiye Amiesiamaka Stadium in Port Harcourt four days later.
As expected, there was no provision for Vincent Enyeama and Emmanuel Emenike who both announced their retirement from the National team.
