Pictured above is Amina Ali, the rescued Chibok school girl, with her baby and alleged husband Mohammed Hayatu. They were transported via the Nigeria Air Force Super Puma aircraft from Damboa to Maiduguri, after examinations by the Air force medical team, clearing them to be of good health after which they were released to the Operation LAFIYA DOLE headquarters for further investigation and handing over.
After all the initial investigations were carried out, she was handed over to the Borno state governor Honourable Kashim Shetima yesterday evening by the Acting General Officer Commanding 7 Division, Brigadier General Victor Ezugwu at the Government house in Maiduguri.
Reports say she will be transported with her parents today to Abuja to meet with the president.
While her alleged husband is being investigated at the joint Intelligence Centre, it should be noted that he is being treated according to the Operation LAFIYA DOLE Rules of Engagement regarding rebels who willingly surrender to the military. See more photos below…
