One of the three people declared wanted by the Nigerian Army, Ahmed Bolori arrived at the military headquarters in Borno state early this morning.
Bolori, who has been updating his followers on Facebook about his ‘trip’ to see the army, got to the military facility at around 10am on Monday, August 15 and was made to wait for an hour more before he was allowed to enter into the facility.
I’ve been here at the Army command Headquarters, Maiduguri, waiting to be invited in as scheduled. But yet, no response despite the text messages and calls I made to the Army.
I am a good citizen and so, I keep to my words. I said I will be here, and I am here! May God help us!
Eventually, when he was let into the facility, there was still no military officer to interrogate him.
I have signed the visitors register since and I am still waiting to be taken in. Although, the Army guard doesn’t have airtime to contact his heads. Finally, I am driving into the Army Operation Headquarters now.
His final post before his Facebook page went silent at midday was that he had met a colonel who invited him to his office to DRINK TEA.
The Army is now treating me friendly and peacefully, as a nice colonel just took me to his office to drink tea. May God help us!
